Soup & Socks for Seniors

Each year, Seniors in our communities find themselves alone at the holidays; Valentine’s Day is no different.  We’d like to keep the spirit of Community, Caring and Outreach going one more month.  For many who have meals delivered they miss their loved ones - some being without family or friends close by, some with the isolation of being a widow or widower.  We’d love to remember them beyond Thanksgiving & Christmas and make them feel treasured and cared for on this day of Love.
Please join us for a warm bowl of soup & donate a pair of Socks to warm someone’s soul.
All socks collected will be given to area organizations and benefits those living alone and in nursing homes to be delivered to Seniors on Valentine's Day 2014.
