DESCRIPTION:This year marks North Texas SNAP's 15th Anniversary of creating and supporting a variety of programs and services for individuals 17 and older living with intellectual disabilities. In 2013\, North Texas SNAP served approximately 200 members with disabilities.\n\n\n\nOur members' unique needs and personal potential are guiding factors as we develop activities and programs to help them achieve the skills necessary to successfully succeed in society.  Members have the opportunity to grow in a positive and caring environment where friendships are nurtured and life skills are developed.\n\n\n\nExpanded Living Program\n\nGirls' Night Out\n\nJ.O.B.S. Club\n\nMen's Club\n\nProject Neighbor\n\nSocial\n\nTransportation\n\nWorkforce Internship Program\n\nWorkshops\n\n\n\nAs we celebrate 15 years of serving individuals 17 and older living with intellectual disabilities\, our goal is to raise $72\,000 at this year's Boots & Bling Casino Night! Your generous donation will help North Texas SNAP support the programs and services listed above and help create a community where people with intellectual disabilities and their families have a network that supports independence\, choice and personal success.
