DESCRIPTION:You won't want to miss this highly anticipated social event where outstanding area volunteers are honored while we raise funds to support the Arts.  This is the 20th annual event after the luncheon was established as a fundraiser benefiting Arts Council Northeast.\n\nVolunteers from area civic and charitable organizations will be recognized this year.  Nominating organizations purchase tickets and sponsor tables to attend the luncheon in support of their own Shining Star and other honorees.  Luncheon guests are the cr me de la cr me of the area's most prominent volunteers and community leaders.\n\nThe luncheon is preceded by an elegant reception where wonderful art donated by local artists is available to the highest bidder.   There is also a small\, exclusive silent auction offering unique items from arts patrons and some of the finest retailers in the community.
