The reception will feature a collection of acrylic paintings depicting rodeo and ranch-themed scenes. Sophy Brown\, a highly respected Western artist\, uses bold color and striking brush strokes to convey the wild energy of horses and cowboys in motion. Brown has had her paintings featured in the Cowgirl Up Exhibition and Sale\, the Governor's Invitation Art Show & Sale Featuring Colorado Artists and the Coors Western Art Exhibit. Her work can also be found at the Evergreen Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden\, Lovetts Gallery\, Rabbit Brush Gallery\, Primary Elements Gallery and Tough Luck Cowboy. Brown\, who was born in Birmingham\, England and educated at the University of London and the University of Michigan\, is now working on a series of paintings depicting cowboys in scenes of ranching life.
