This week we will hear from Jason & Sheila Ridley on their new ownership of Buttermilk Sky Pie!
Jason and Sheila purchased their shop in August 2021. When asked why they chose to buy a pie shop they answer simply, “Community is very important to us. What better way to share love than by sharing pie? This is going to be the most delicious way to support our community.”
Jason and Sheila moved to Grapevine in 2007. “We love the small town feel with the big city perks! Our children, Hunter and Paige, have grown up here, gone to church here and received a good education from the local schools. Now they are ready to make their own way in the world. We feel so blessed to have received that from our community and it propels us to help other families do the same.”
Jason and Sheila can’t wait to give back to the community through the Pie It Forward program. Pie It Forward will be a great way for them to combine their love of Buttermilk Sky Pie with their love of helping organizations that make a difference in the community. Don’t forget teachers! With Sheila having taught for 10 years, you know she is going to love on teachers with some amazing pie.
Jason and Sheila are so grateful to have their shop in Colleyville. When you come to the shop, you may find Jason enjoying his favorite, Peanut Butter Cream Pie and Sheila enjoying the perfect combination of tart and sweet, Key Lime.
