Father's Day
Father's day is celebrated the 3rd Sunday in June. The idea for creating a day for children to honor their fathers began in 1910. President Coolidge proclaimed that this holiday would continue to be observed. Then, president Nixon established the holiday as a permanent national observance. So Father's day was born as a token of love and gratitude.
