Community of Colleyville Officially Welcomes Scooter’s Coffee & Frozen Yogurt

50/50Blend Campaign awards 100 local residents with a year of free coffee or frozen yogurt.

COLLEYVILLE, Texas, May 15, 2012 – A new Scooter’s opened in Colleyville, bringing bold coffee, frozen yogurt, and more than ten new jobs. The Scooter’s, located at 7171 Colleyville Blvd., will celebrate with a Grand Opening for customers at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19^th.  This Grand Opening offers free coffee or frozen yogurt for a year for the first 100 customers on opening day.

Store Drive-Thru to Experience Quality

 “Although we love our customer’s, our goal is to see very little of them on a daily basis. We make great coffee and serve it up fast. The location of our store makes the drive thru convenient for customers heading to or from work or school,” said store owner Steve Villet. “We work hard to offer the highest quality, natural ingredients to create great tasting products, ranging from coffees to lattes, pastries to frozen yogurts with a variety of fresh toppings.”

Scooter’s values customer’s time, so the staff focuses on providing fast service without cutting corners, while remaining socially responsible. Scooter’s prides itself on being an environmentally friendly company and plans to reward those Colleyville community members who mimic these values.

As part of Scooter’s commitment to the communities in which it operates, the first 100 customers will receive a gift card, loaded with one free coffee or frozen yogurt per week for a year.

Store Manager Melinda said, “This is a fun way to thank Colleyville residents for giving Scooter’s a try. We are looking forward to serving all customers and can’t wait to see who lines up first.” Melinda added that Scooter’s welcomes tents and chairs, if customers want to line up early in preparation for the Grand Opening gift card give away.

“We have a fleet of Scooter’s Branded cars, and scooters that can be spotted around Colleyville,” said Melinda. “If we spot you, doing good in the community, we’ll reward you with a cup of coffee or yogurt,” she added. For example, if the Scooter fleet sees you petting a pup, you might just earn a cup.

Ribbon-Cutting Celebration 9:00 a.m., May 19, 2012

Community business leaders, and members of the Chamber of Commerce will join Scooter’s staff at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, for a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony. Customers will be treated to their 50/50 Blend gift cards, if they are one of the first 100 through Scooter’s on Opening Day.
