 Speaker: Lori Varnell Tarrant County Assistant District Attorney Elder Financial Fraud Unit Fighting Elder Financial Fraud Lori will be addressing issues related to the prolific crime of financial elder abuse and efforts to protect seniors from scam artist and exploitation. The Elder Financial Fraud Unit, prosecutes those who target seniors, works diligently to retrieve their assets, and provides education to law enforcement, businesses and community organizations on how to prevent elder fraud in our community. Lori attended Baylor University and earned her law degree from SMU. She has over 20 years’ experience dealing with issues related to white collar crime and cyber litigation. |
